Missions
It is the church’s duty to fulfill the Great Commission, to send people into the world. That’s what missions are all about. The deacons in our church use their spiritual gifts to serve the church, families, and the surrounding community.
Our youth and college age also offer volunteer services in training to become more like Jesus. And our faithful members that also volunteer their time in service to help the church.
Mission organizations that we support & participate in are:
- LifeChoices Health Network
- Watered Gardens
- Life of Hope Ministries
- MSSU Baptist Student Union
- East Middle School
- Chilton Baptist Builders
Also, as a Southern Baptist Church, we support the work of the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and International Mission Board (IMB).
We also have missions-based groups that meet on campus.
“For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps,” 1 Peter 2:21.
